With economic times being what they are, now more than ever we need to count our blessings. What may seem like an ordinary time of life is often filled with extraordinary moments to treasure. And with such moments, a life is wealthy after all. What moments have become part of your treasure?

I'll go first: one of my favorite moments of my last year was holding my nine-month old granddaughter after taking her for a swim in San Antonio. I wrapped her up in a towel and sat poolside rocking her to sleep. She napped as I held her, basking in the warm sun. So sweet, such a rare privilege, it made me cry.

  1. What is more normal than the right of passage into marriage. Throughout our lives we may attend many weddings for friends, relatives etc. I had the privilege of attended two special ceremonies within the past year, both very special, my two daughters. As I sat at the most recent I was overwhelmed with emotion as I watched my two daughters embrace. This tender moment and obvious love they have for each other is something I will treasure forever
